Writing Books and Juice Feasting . .

Now that I've made that trip to Indiana to visit friends and family, I'm happily back in my own home, my own bed, and the challenge of living in a hot, dry climate with drought conditions. I got this - I can do it. I'm just greatful for air conditioning.

I've got a book in the works. Oh, yeah, but its been mostly in my head for several years now and getting it out there is nearly impossible when I'm constantly faced with work. You might know what I mean. Then, of course, I keep experimenting with my diet to get myself as healthy as I can. My latest trip down that lane has met with the green cleanse, the juice feast, the liquid of vegetables and fruits.

Off to the grocery store to get organic spinach, lettuce, celery, cucumbers, parsley, and lemons. In order to do this juice feast, I'm required to drink AT LEAST one gallon of juice a day. Also required is one head of celery and two heads of lettuce, and then whatever else I want. The calories I need will be in the form of some denser veggies like sweet potatoes, zucchini squash, etc. I'm happy to know that I will at least get to make it so it tastes good by adding apples and lemons and maybe grapes or something equally sweet.

Having done this type of juicing before, I am in for a huge challenge because I'm going to do this for 92 days!!! OK? Don't leave yet. I'm not crazy.

Follow my blog for the action - I'll report what goes on with this juicing effort every day and even if I fail, I'll admit it. I'm cool with that.

Now, I'm going shopping and then return home for some serious writing on that book that awaits its binder.
